I agree 100%. I lost my Vimeo account for posting a video critical of the lockdowns (back in April last year). I've had so much shit thrown at me for pointing out what is so blindingly obvious to anyone who works with data (or has seen another ridiculous hockey-stick graph in a VC presentation)- models are made by humans. They are not infallible. In the case of Imperial College, it's laughable.
There are people who literally think that you have a 10% chance of dying if you get COVID. This is how brainwashed people have become.

"Team Reason" aka The Voice in the Wilderness. I thought I lived in a rational society, albeit flawed, but overall rational. (I'm Canadian & USA is like a cousin.) I keep saying to myself - now you have a taste of what it must be like to live in Iran, Philippines, or so many of the overall flawed countries of this world. I keep saying prayers of gratitude, hopes it gets no worse. It keeps spiralling. Yesterday we heard new more draconian travel restrictions in Canada - due to these new strains. The oppression (on many fronts), the utter hysteria, the false reality we are forced to live in - now we have a taste of the pain all those yearning to be free have felt. I believed in our societies, we had self-governance: the power to right wrongs, overturn failed administrations. That belief has faded. Totalitarianism is settling in.
An important omission from "The Dossier" and your analysis:
Virology 101 says that mutations are desirable and how we get to the end of the pandemic, but because people are ignorant of science, they can be fooled by the media into fearing them instead of recognizing them as a sign of progress.
Viruses mutate because they replicate imperfectly (copy error) in host animals/people. Mutations are random so they can make a virus worse, better, or about the same. However, the long term result of mutations (survival of the fittest) is to increase contagiousness while reducing deadliness. In fact, you can think of how contagious a virus is and how deadly it is as an inverse relationship.
Having a new more contagious strain is exactly what we want to see moving forward. Once the official rate of death drops below a certain rate SARS-CoV2 becomes just another variant of the common cold. Or, even more appealing, does exactly what SARS-CoV1 did and goes away completely.
SARS-CoV1 made it's appearance in 2003, had a half-strength second wave in 2004, and hasn't been seen outside of a lab since. Nature is going to end the pandemic regardless of how badly government responses are because that's how viruses work.

I, too, have been censored by big-tech social media. In my case, it was Medium.com that recently pulled two of my well-researched, well-written essays on CV-19 and placed them "under investigation for possibly violating policy." That policy, updated in November 2020 (clever timing there, eh?), includes all sorts of loosey-goosey poo-pooing with regard to Cov-AIN’T that is reminiscent of every subversive tactic of every tyrannical regime—or attempt at tyranny—in history. This brings to mind a quote by George R.R. Martin: “When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say.” Which is both brilliant and true, but it still sucks being on the sharp edge of the knife. Hang in there, and let's continue to find creative ways to use our "pen-is-mightier-than-sword" skills to turn that blade around and cut through their lies and propaganda!
Reminder to everyone: The tyrants have only one playbook that they repeatedly use to bludgeon us, and it is based on manipulation. People have to do more of the former (leave Twitter) than the latter (delete the tweet). The latter is submission. Less than 20% of the country is on Twitter, so when "they" say such and such statement caused a Twitter storm and then companies and people start cancelling each other, realize that you've let less than 20% of the people run your life.
