What’s weird is opioid crisis started about same time as we stopped burning the Afghan poppy fields. No countries have ever wanted Afghanistan for opium though right? Opioids don’t grow on trees they need ingredients and processing but I’m sure it’s a coincidence!

You would think our geniuses might have read “The Story of the Malakand Field Force” by Churchill when dealing with the Afghans. They only live to fight and they aren’t going to change, not by us anyway. They only understand a butt strike to their face.

Firing half the Generals, taking their clearances, and not replacing them would probably clean some stuff up rapidly.

Here’s a white pill: The days of actual great men are coming again.

Great discussion. [Just an aside -- and not to take away from the substance of the discussion -- but PLEASE get rid of the insipid, off-putting "like" every other sentence. Such a distraction. Such a detraction from your obvious intelligence, Jordan.] I would, like, really appreciate it if you would, like, do your best to, like, never say like again. :)

Dave doesn't know how Obama won a 2nd term? On what planet could Mitt Romney win over an incumbent Obama?

Thanks guys. I also see reason for optimism but make no mistake they are throwing people off social media for nothing over and over again, more and more people for less and less. And people are supporting it. As one family member frantically put it, “no I don’t believe in censorship, but it’s not working because the misinformation is still getting through!” with no self awareness of his complete lack of openness to exploring complex, substance, or even just respectful tolerance of difference of opinions per their own supposed values.

I think transcend h the divisiveness (though “they” make it hard sometimes). But rising above it all, standing, speaking, modeling truth and principles with peaceful confidence rather than getting hooked and getting sucked into their low energy game. And laughter, not ridicule but laughter. They’re Really desperate.

Kevin Jenkins said the “masters quote are not going to let us use their tools to destroy them. We’re getting there, you guys and substack included. Thanks.
