It was never a war, at least as far as the Deep State was concerned. It was, from the beginning, about nothing but plundering the treasury.

I'm skeptical. I wish Ukraine would fold, but it's being propped up so much by the US proxy war. In addition Zelinsky is making plenty of money from it, the West is highly invested in the propaganda and narrative.

Plus, Ukraine is now the hot travel destination for U.S. politicians and actors including Mrs. Biden! WTF?!

Russia has offered peace talks, but the West a.k.a. U.S. won't have it.

Yet the increasingly malignant cancer known as Mike Pompeo gave a speech at the Hudson Institute recently and doubled down on misinformation about Putin conducting a genocide in the Ukraine to cover his crimes in Russia (!?) He also insisted that the Ukrainian government get no further help from the US if they go to the bargaining table with Russia! This is a proxy war conducted by the United States neocons and neoliberals. They horribly miscalculated the affects on their policies in Ukraine. Now they have Russia in China’s arms. China IS a real threat and these fools on both sides of the aisle in the United States are careening into big trouble. Although our (deep) State Department has been taught a hard lesson by Russias military and manufacturing ability, they do not seem to understand that, now, after sending too much of our manufacturing to China our carrier battle groups will not be able to survive if they enter the Taiwan straits. As the Russians say: “quantity has a quality all its own”. If we are amazed at the numbers of shells, missiles, and cruise missiles fielded by Russia then be truly amazed by the numbers that will be employed by the Chinese. Although the hypersonic missiles that China has (and we apparently don’t) can purportedly sink an aircraft carrier undetected, China will not need to rely on them. They will darken the skies over our carrier groups with more conventional missiles.

We are truly in dicey waters as a nation. The insane hubris of our “leaders” demonstrated by Covid policy is visiting us in foreign policy. That is a dangerous thing.

Without US intervention Ukraine would have fallen inside the first few weeks. Instead we're looking at protracted, expensive, and deadly conflict for the ongoing future which endangers the world. We would have been much better off burning the $60 billion we sent there.

Without arguing specifics, the problem is that the West in general and the United States in particular have already lavished so much material, financial and moral support on the Ukrainian regime that anything less than total victory will be a blow to Muh American Credibility.

As a result, the West feels it has no choice but to keep on doubling down, and every time the West doubles down, the cost of calling off the war goes up.

This misuse of The Sunk Cost Fallacy is entirely intentional.

The following comments are not meant to diminish the ineptitudes of mumbles biden and the deep state bureaucrats, but to try and wake a few more, to the reality of the larger picture playing out.

The past decade, but more importantly the past 3 years, should have taught the worlds population, that we are not only a global community, but also suffer the consequences of that globalization, simultaneously. The mandates, lockdowns, tyrannical grabs of power, freedoms and liberties...that looked identical from country to country...were not a coincidence.

What many failed to understand, is that globalization was orchestrated by the few (global elites/oligarchs) not the many (you and I...the peasants). This is a bit surprising, since the few, have done little to hide their intentions and efforts, to make the world what THEY think it should be...evidenced by numerous WEF papers and videos, available to the general peasantry. They no longer feel the need to hide their plans...that is a sobering and chilling revelation.

Does that mean that the hundreds of issues and their lower level perpetrators, are blameless...not at all. Mumbles, his regime and the deep state bureaucrats are definitely running this country into the ground...purposely. They are following one of the Globalist's action plans, but on a national scale...along with the false crises (read every wackjob issue you see activists pushing on social and fake mainstream media), create real chaos, strife, devastation, and unrest in the population, via the collapse of the economy, infrastructure, security (justice and law enforcement), resource (supply chain) and liberty (inherent and constitutional rights). The false issues are the distraction, the real issues are the pressure exerted on a population to break it.

I've had people say, "That's crazy, who would want to destroy a country they govern".

The answer is, those who know they will not lose, no matter what the outcome.

The ruling class, will never go hungry, never run out of gas, water, property, money (in whatever form that may end up being) or power. What they gain is control, power, wealth and a seat at the global table, solidifying their position and security.

The name of the game (at global, national and local levels) is keep the peasants off balance and distracted with real and false problems, issues and crises, in order to keep working the larger plans, with no interference.

After the last 3 years of watching different governments, from around the world, sacrifice their citizens, who doesn't think they would happily destroy an economy, upset global energy production/distribution, experiment on the child population with untested drugs and openly lie to maintain control?

If we think about just the Ukraine issue...the excusatory narratives, of many domestic issues, are written and satisfied with this one event. Now let just look at one domestic issue, out of hundreds...The Climate initiative. The aoc green new deal, which was re-branded as mumbles biden's climate change initiative was the opening salvo on the fossil fuel industry, American energy independence, low energy cost (worldwide), and American financial prosperity (since the economy is inextricably tied to the oil and gas industry).

Excerpt from joebiden.com - energy plan:

"Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face..."

So, first day in office, the Keystone XL pipeline is scrapped, gas and energy prices rise steadily after that. The economy worsens. There are rumblings of problems in Ukraine (not hunter this time). A non-war breaks out. Mumbles now has a scapegoat, in the form of a war and long hated figurehead...Putin.

The rise in energy cost is now the Putin tax, it's the Putin recession.

Kamalatoe harris explains that a small country was invaded by a big country...which equates to loss of freedom and equity...wait aren't there groups who are protesting because of those very same losses...and now in the warped mind of the leftist activists and karens, the war is about equity, inclusion, racism you name it. Biden releases more strategic oil (which we now know was sold in part to a Chinese company, hunter may still have ties to). Americans are told that the non-rescission is the cost we must pay for freedom (not our mind you)...and gas prices are not a problem if you drive and EV (via the energy secretary). No matter the outcome of the war, the narrative is now set to be...if we do not become Alternative energy independent, then we will suffer high gas prices again when the next crisis rolls around, which they'll make sure does come...just as mumbles knows there's another pandemic coming.

Putin/the war will be an excuse to widen the climate agenda and solidify the link with national security...after all we had to release strategic stockpiles because of old Vlad.

No matter what happens, the narrative will be spun and the national and global elites will profit/benefit and be able to grab more power.

My point in all this is, we have to turn around and look at the larger picture, that is just outside of our myopic field of view. Much like standing in waist deep water, at the beach and watching the breakers drive into the shore, you are oblivious to the 6 foot wave behind you, that is about to crest and slam us.

Biden is a joke that no world leaders take seriously.

Cult members of the Green religion are a national security threat to every nation.

Everything wrong in America right now can be placed squarely on every Democrat across this country.

The U.S. and allies engineered the war. They wanted it, and everything that's happened since was easily predictable. For what reason? Either they western powers are run by incredibly stupid people, or there's some deeper objective that is served by propping up Ukraine and continuing the war.

As far as I know from the German media, Russia went into Kiev to divert ukrainian troops stationed in the Donbass. Once they moved north to defend Kiev, Russia went in in the east.

This is a good summary about Ukraine:
