Two things are very problematic: one, that they will roll these measures back claiming that they're doing so because the measures were "successful". Two, that nothing has been put in place preventing them from ever doing this again. I think the next step in our countries will be creating laws that severely restrict emergency measures and powers, especially in relation to public health.

It was my understanding that, to advance these ideas ahead of any formal guidance by the CDC, NIH, and FDA, was heretical "anti-science" and made you a racist bigot for even suggesting an incompetent, myopic, captured, fractured, and immoral government bureaucracy might be wrong about a few things, and standing up for your children made you a "domestic terrorist."
These craven, self-important, self-deluded, illiberal, hypocritical, cowardly, and malignant regressives must be held accountable for the harms they have visited on our children, our society, and our economy. They must be moved as far away from the levels of power as is humanly possible.
